Factory rubber suspension mounts have a lot of flexibility and cannot withstand the extreme loads applied to them during performance driving conditions. When these mounts flex, all of the suspension geometry changes making the car unstable and unpredictable. A very popular suspension upgrade is to replace these bushings with solid mounts like the ones found on the factory race cars. We placed the lever in the middle so there would not be a difference between the right and left tilting brackets as well as giving the seat the ability to be released from either side. Three hinges and rubber stoppers were used to minimize movement and noise of the tilting bracket.
